Table catch Empty Table catch

I have a problem with the catch on the sliding side door. It is the catch that holds the picnic table into the panel.
Does anyone have an exploded diagram or know how this is put together? It seems as though the parts have come apart and now the bar that you press is trapped behind the piece that should be pulled up to release the door.

Hi Cliff I know it's a pain that catch, it's as though the spring was not man enough for the job, there is now a mod for that as VW have changed the catch, it may be worth popping over to Breeze and asking if you can purchase the mod.

Ok went into Breeze yesterday and had a chat with the mechanic, aparently he is going to shave a milimeter off the plate inside the catch, he expects the problem to go away after as he has done this a number of times to other Cali's.
Cost will be about £70 as it takes about three quarters of an hour.
